About Us

About Us We enjoy living in/near the center of southern Maryland where the tri-counties connects - Calvert, Charles, and St Mary's. Our hearts beat for those in need, and we are continuously drawn to serve others, "especially" those in need of hope.   For more than two decades, we've served our community through selfless acts of Love! These acts include but aren't limited to, praying for families, businesses, schools. We've even sponsored prayer events/opportunities to engage others to help make a greater difference. PCTPT are passionate about Prayer! Additionally, we have sponsored children in other parts of the world, to help provide them with clothes, food, education, and shelter. Today, we are active sponsors. Furthermore, with great compassion, we regularly feed those in need, in our local community. Approximately 10 years ago on a day we felt a strong tug on our hearts to go to the city to feed the homeless! After shopping specifically for their needs, the family sorted the canned goods and other prepared foods and drove approx. 40 miles to where the homeless are known to dwell.  They were expectedly left with nourishments for the whole weekend (and beyond). Fast forward, in 2017 we started attending New Life Church in Southern Maryland. It was there where we began serving the homeless more frequently through the Helping Hands' ministry which is led by beautiful family with big hearts who partner with New Life! We continue to partner with them to serve our local communities!  In October 2019, we had a fervent desire to do even more to help feed and supply other essential items to those in need. Our service would also be accompanied with prayers of faith as we strongly believe prayers changes things. The very next day, after our family's discussion in which we all agreed, the Senior Pastor of NewLife.live spoke during Sunday service about helping the helpless! Of course, he no knowledge about our recent meeting/plans. It was a confirmation that God placed the desire on our heart.   In 2020, our mission to further minister, turned into a nonprofit known as. "PRAYER CHANGES THINGS and PEOPLE TOO"! We still partner with Helping Hands in MD!  We hope to engage and partner with others for this very worthy and much needed cause.    During the pandemic, PCTPT provided many meals to those in need!. 

It is our hope to continue showing compassion, unconditionally.
